here i capture my wireless nodes...

Urgent ! i make new prepaid tickets when i click i click update. the old tickets does not work anymore.
now my user cannot login with the old prepaid account,
i issue them new prepaid id's but still does not work.
look like the system is not updating

i think it the upgrade problem, happen like the last time when i do the upgrade.
today i actually change the "Free Access" to 30 min instead of "2 hours".
after i update the tickets... the prepaid tickets does not work also.
Appreciate if you can look into the matter the soonest.

I wonder if you can add another page for "Terms & Condition or Rules & Regulation" below the "Free Tickets" or get them to read before they signup for the hotspot.

I don't think anything is wrong or was wrong with your account.

The dHotSpot Radius Daemon occasionally does go down.
If this happens any login attempt will fail.
So don't worry. Just Wait a while and we will have it up and running soon.
It's only happens about once a month. In this case it happened 2x.
It was very unusual.

Answers to your Questions.

1. We are going to work on a login template system soon.
If you have a nice template, we could make it available to everyone.

2. Yes, prepaid card rates on the login page is a great idea.
We had plans to do this.

3. dHotSpot could be a place to share files and media.
We do have plans to add some fun things like this.

4. The time control feature simply really only does one thing.
It displays a logout button on the landing page so your customer stop/save his time.

5. We can add a term and conditions page.
We will also do this soon.

Most of these requests will be available by the new year.

If there is one you really would love to have urgently, we can push it up on the list.

One more thing came in mind, how to i get to remove a valid ticket, say if the user abuse the system?

At this exact time, the only way to do this is to delete your tickets.
This obviously won't work in most cases.

If you have a very small client base like a rental apartment it could work.

We will also add this in the near future.

In the mean time, contact us and we can pull up the ticket and bann the mac address or delete the ticket. Its up to you.

Would a mobile user with wifi be able to use our system? i am asking because i see quite a number of nokia user from the DD-WRT Wireless Status.

Yes dhotspot is mobile ready.
It is compatible with most wifi enabled handheld or mobile devices.
The system detects if the device is a computer or mobile device and
serves up the proper size template.

The free link with ads is not compatible yet.
But the prepaid tickets and online payments do work.

It has been tested on several mobile devices.
However more testing is recommended.

Let us know if you come across any incompatible devices.

Admin can you open another topic on Hardware so we users can share info and exchange some knowledge on routers and stuff.
