Setting up Your Wireless Hotspot Router

Configuring your router is probably the most complicated part of the setting up your hotspot.
We have a detailed knowledgebase, helpdesk, and forum in your hotspot control center.
If you are not savvy, we highly recommend that you purchase preflashed router or hire somebody to install it for you.
Flashing your own router could take you a while, can be very frustrating and can damage the router if done wrong.

Your Router Must Have 4 MB of FLASH MEMORY to intstall this firmware!

#1. Download/Install - DD-wrt firmware

DD-wrt is a Free, Very powerful, 3rd party router software.
Make sure the dd-wrt version supports Chillispot. (mega is recommended)
DD-wrt versions with chillispot are labeled in the download link: standard(std), mega, or nokaid.

#2. Buy Pre-Flashed Router

There are some places where dd-wrt come preinstalled with a new purchase
Please be sure to buy one that has a dd-wrt version with chillspot.
